1. Who We Are

Golf Money List ("we," "us," or "our") is operated as a golf scoring and money tracking application available at moneylistgolf.com. Questions about this policy can be directed to privacy@moneylistgolf.com.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account information — Your name and email address, provided when you sign in via Google OAuth.
  • Golf scores — Hole-by-hole scores, handicap index, and round results you enter into the app.
  • Group and roster data — Player names, handicap indexes, and group membership information you create or accept.
  • Financial tracking data — Wager amounts, payout calculations, and settlement records you record within the app. This data represents informal scorekeeping between consenting adults and is not a gambling transaction processed by us.
  • Usage data — Basic server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. Collected automatically by our infrastructure providers.

3. How We Use Your Data

  • To authenticate you and maintain your account session.
  • To store and display your golf scores, rounds, and payout history.
  • To calculate handicap-adjusted scores and money-list standings within your group.
  • To allow group members you invite to see your name and scores.
  • To troubleshoot technical issues and improve the application.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Third-Party Services

Supabase

Our database and authentication backend. Your data is stored in Supabase-managed PostgreSQL databases. Supabase processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.

Google OAuth

We use Google Sign-In for authentication. When you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email with us. Google's privacy policy applies to your interaction with Google's services.

Vercel

Our hosting provider. Vercel processes request logs including IP addresses as part of serving the application. Vercel's privacy policy applies to data processed at the infrastructure level.

5. Data Sharing

Your name and scores are visible to members of golf groups you join or create. Outside of your groups, your data is not shared with other users. We do not share your personal data with third parties except as required to operate the service (Supabase, Vercel) or as required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, scores, and group membership records. Residual data in backup snapshots may persist for up to 30 days following deletion.

7. Your Rights

  • Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: You may update your name and handicap from within the app at any time.
  • Deletion: You may delete your account and all associated data from the app's settings. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
  • Portability: To request an export of your data, contact us at privacy@moneylistgolf.com.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), token-based authentication, and row-level security policies on our database. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

9. Children's Privacy

This service is intended for users 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has created an account, contact us and we will delete the account.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
